​​After hoisting the Tricolour in Aizawl, the CM said his government has kept a close watch on the situation in Manipur and taken steps for safety and security of Mizos, especially students, stranded in Imphal. Zoramthanga said the state government took relief and rehabilitation measures for the internally displaced people from Manipur who sought shelter in Mizoram.
