Tata International aimed to increase its sustainable leather production to 50% within four years, up from 27%. They introduced Phoenix Leather under the Earthcare Leather range, partnering with the Central Leather Research Institute. Post-Covid, demand improved in key markets, including the USA, China, and Europe. Their production facility in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, employs more than 750 workers.
