The 257 Aviation Squadron from Kashmir, led by Colonel Vikas Magar of Maharashtra, has been named the best army aviation squadron in India. The squadron won the top honours in the Aviation Flight Safety Awards. General Upendra Dwivedi honoured the winners during the Army Commanders' Conference. The award recognizes exceptional contributions to flight safety.
