The Ajit Pawar-led NCP has released its first list of 37 candidates for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections. The party will contest the polls independently. Other parties like AAP have also announced candidates. The elections are scheduled for January 15. Nominations close on December 30. The Congress has allied with Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi for the civic body polls.
